Simione Announces Business Partnership with CT Leader Richard J. Corcoran
Since 1999, Corcoran previously served as chief business officer, chief financial officer and treasurer with VNA Community Healthcare, Inc., Guilford, CT, where he led financial operations, strategic initiatives and reporting for the $32 million non-profit home care agency and had direct responsibility for its subsidiaries for adult day care and non-medical home care. His background includes management and leadership for banking, auditing and investments, as well as strategic planning, budget, revenue cycle, accounting, payroll, property management and acquisitions. Corcoran has extensive experience in working with payers and associations regarding Medicare and Medicaid regulations and reimbursement, and in supporting professional development, fundraising and a variety of advocacy initiatives.

A resident of North Haven, CT, Corcoran is a certified home and hospice care executive. He is the former chairman of the board and treasurer of the Connecticut Association for Healthcare at Home, where he remains an active member of the board of directors and serves on the government relations committee. He also served as a member of the finance and investment committees of Visiting Nurse Associations of New England (VNANE), and on CFO forums and the finance committee with Visiting Nurse Associations of America and the National Association for Home Care and Hospice.
